The Maxi Cosi Pearl Pro 2 is used in combination with the FamilyFix3 and meets the highest safety standards for child car seats thanks to the new i-Size standard. It is the follow-up seat for the Rock and Pebble Pro infant car seat.
For the installation you need the FamilyFix3 that you either already have from the infant car seat or can be buyed extra in out shop.

Experts agree: children should ride backwards in the car as long as possible. The musculature in the neck area of the children is not yet fully developed and thus the force effects of a frontal impact can have a devastating effect. Rearward, these forces are absorbed and derived from the child seat. A rear-facingn car seat is the perfect choice after the infant car seat.
From 15 months the Pearl Pro 2 can also be used forward. But we recommend you to use the child seat as long as possible backwards.
Safety
The attachment of the Pearl Pro 2 is done with the FamilyFix3 base. This is securely fastened with the Isofix connectors and firmly anchored in the car. Incorrect installation is prevented by acoustic and visual signals. Additional protection is provided by the integrated Side Protection System.
In the seat you strap on your child with the padded 5-point safety belt. For easier buckling, the Pearl also has easy-out straps for easier insertion.

Comfort
