The ECE group 0+ includes babies from birth to about the 12 or 15 month and a weight from 0 to 13 kg. The car seats of group 0+ will be used directly from the birth of the baby. If the baby seat later gets too small you must replace the car seat by a child seat of the group 1 or 1-2-3.
The infant car seats can all be securely attached with the 3-point seat belt in the car. The backup can however be facilitated by the installation of a base. So you only have to click the infant car seat on the base and do not fix it everytime separately with the belt. Because the base remains permanently installed in the car. There are two base types - the belted base and the Isofix base. As the name suggest the belted base is fastened with the 3-point seat belt in the car while the Isofix base is firmly anchored with the Isofix system in the car.
We encourage you to buy an infant car seat with an isofix base because the base is anchored very firmly in the car and the infant car seat can be fastened on it incredibly easy.
