When you put it on the Vinca stroller, all you need to do is quickly adjust the height of the Calmi R129 in 3 positions. If you're traveling by car, simply click the Calmi R129 from the stroller onto the i-Base Encore base station or the i-Base LX 2 (both available separately), sideways in the direction of travel, and off you go.
