The Joie Every Stage R129 has everything you need to travel safely and comfortably, first with your baby and then with your junior, until you no longer need a seat! Even though Joie's child seat experts recommend always using an infant car seat or car carrycot first, the Every Stage R129 will get even the youngest children to their destination safely.
Starting from birth, it's rear-facing until your child is 105 cm tall and at least 15 months old. You strap in your explorer with the integrated 5-point harness, while the Every Stage R129 is installed in the car with the vehicle's seatbelt, thus securing them. Starting at 100 cm tall (and at least 15 months old), you can also use the seat forward-facing. However, it is recommended that you use a rear-facing car seat for as long as possible. So, once your child is big enough, install the Every Stage R129 forward-facing, stow the integrated 5-point harness in the storage compartment, and secure your child with the vehicle's seat belt.
